Carr paints with total focus and energy, producing images that range from impressionist landscapes to frenzied abstracts that include universal symbolism.  She communicates verbally as well as visually, and has recently published a book of her poetry, also titled “Follow Your Heart”.

Perhaps the key to Carr’s artwork is in her statement, “Adventure lies not in the places we seek, but in the moments we create in the places we treasure.”
